DESCRIPTION:The Brayden Ottenbreit Close Cuts for Cancer head-shaving event started in 1998. It began when Brayden Ottenbreit\, a young boy from Yorkton\, was diagnosed with cancer before his fourth birthday. To support him\, his dad Greg\, his uncle Grant\, and a group of friends decided to shave their heads. Since then\, Brayden Ottenbreit Close Cuts for Cancer has raised over $1\,500\,000 for local cancer initiatives.\n\n\n\nOver the last ten years\, more than $987\,220 has been donated to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan — over $566\,720 through the Charity Charger Car Raffle and more than $420\,500 through this event — all in support of cancer research and local cancer initiatives led by the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency right here in the province. \n\nRegister today as a participant\, set your fundraising goal then encourage your friends\, family\, and colleagues to sponsor you!
