Board Members

As a non-profit, charitable organization we are honoured to have a volunteer board of directors that represent the very best of Saskatchewan’s business and volunteer community. The giving of their time and expertise to help guide the Foundation is greatly appreciated.

Are you looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity where you can share your skills and expertise and give back to those you love?  We are currently inviting expressions of interest to join the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan Board of Directors.

From time to time, the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan Board recruits new members to replace those retiring.  The Board is responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance in raising awareness and funds for the needs of the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency and the patients they serve.  Every dollar donated, stays in Saskatchewan to support cancer patients and their families.

If you are interested in applying or learning more about this opportunity, please send an Expression of Interest to info@cancerfoundationsask.ca outlining why this volunteer opportunity is appealing, and we will respond with our application package.

Note:  Terms are three years, beginning July 1st with the opportunity for a second term.  Meetings are held four times per year, with an additional one-day retreat (combination in person and virtual).  As a Board member, you commit to sharing your skills and expertise to advance the Foundation’s purpose, and act as an ambassador in and around your community and our province.
