Twenty Years of Community Care: IG Day of Caring

For the past 20 years, IG Wealth Management has shown what it means to care – not just in words, but in action. As a trusted leader in financial advice for 100 years, IG Wealth Management believes in giving back to the communities it serves and empowering employees to create meaningful change.

Through its annual IG Day of Caring, IG staff partner with the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan to support cancer patients staying at the Regina Cancer Patient Lodge. The Patient Lodge offers rural cancer patients a cozy, convenient, and affordable home-away-from-home while they receive treatment at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre located just across the street.

The IG team roll up their sleeves to make the Patient Lodge feel warm and welcoming. They plant flowers, wash windows, paint curbs, trim hedges, and tend to the many details that transform a building into a place of comfort and rest.

But IG’s impact doesn’t end with volunteer hours. Alongside their hands-on support, IG brings an annual donation – contributing $100,740 to date in support of the Patient Lodge. It’s a powerful combination of time, talent, and generosity that leaves a lasting impression on patients and their families.

Through two decades of commitment, IG has helped ensure that every patient arriving at the Lodge is greeted with care, dignity, and hope.
