Nimesha Fernando – Administration Coordinator
Nimesha Fernando joined the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan with over a decade of experience in administrative and accounting roles. She received her Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Regina in 2024 and recently completed a certificate in QuickBooks Online.
Her experience includes more than eight years as an Accounting Assistant and Administrative Coordinator at Ave Maria Convent in Negombo, Sri Lanka. She is originally from Sri Lanka and immigrated to Canada in 2022. Since relocating to Regina, Nimesha has worked as a Receptionist at SaskExpress and as an Early Childhood Educator at Stepping Stones Child Care.
Nimesha is passionate about contributing to meaningful work that supports the health and well-being of others. She is proud to be part of a team dedicated to improving cancer care across the province. Outside of work, Nimesha enjoys music and singing, and she has volunteered as a choir leader for several years, finding joy in bringing people together through song.
