cancer care in Saskatchewan.

Because of donors to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan, over $5.2 million was invested last year into cancer care for the people of our province. This includes:



$2,903,528 invested in expanding access to breast screening across Saskatchewan, including two custom mobile mammography trailers for rural and remote communities, and upgraded mammography technology in Regina and Saskatoon



$875,000 invested in Saskatchewan-based cancer research to advance new discoveries, strengthen treatment and care, and improve care for patients today and in the future.



$425,018 invested in essential equipment and technology that supports the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centered cancer care throughout Saskatchewan.



$420,050 provided to support specialized treatments and services for Saskatchewan cancer patients, including stem cell transplantation, cellular therapies, and enhancements that improve treatment safety, comfort, and quality of care



$259,237 for Patient Care & Comfort items and programs that ease the burden for cancer patients and their families.
