Kathy Skomar

Development Officer

Kathy Skomar is a Development Officer with a passion for building relationships and bringing people together for a greater cause.  Having seen the impact cancer has on individuals and family, Kathy is enthusiastic about supporting a mission that helps improve cancer care for people across Saskatchewan.

Her career has taken her through a variety of roles in fundraising, community engagement, and events, including roles at STARS, the University of Regina, and TCU Place. These experiences have strengthened her ability to connect people around a shared purpose.

Kathy believes that every conversation is an opportunity to create positive change. She is dedicated to helping donors, partners, and community members see the lasting impact of their generosity.

Outside of work Kathy enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, meeting new people, sharing a laugh, and traveling as much as possible.
