Foundation Matters – November 2023 Edition

In case you missed our amazing news…

We are incredibly humbled by the generosity of the Kinsmen Foundation and Kinsmen TeleMiracle donors from all across Saskatchewan!

Their donation of $1 million completes our fundraising campaign to replace the 20-year old Breast Screening Bus and all the equipment and fixtures!

We celebrate what’s possible for Saskatchewan women because of this transformative gift.

Thanks to the Kinsmen Foundation, women from all corners of this province will continue to have access to breast screening mammograms – closer to home.

With the Kinsmen Foundation’s $1 million donation, plans to reimagine the Breast Screening Bus have already begun.

Thank you to the Kinsmen Foundation and all of you from across our province, who supported this campaign.

Together we will ensure that all Saskatchewan women have access to life-saving breast screening mammograms!

After being told numerous times by his oncologist to get his affairs in order, Gary Carriere had one last option available to
fight the lymphoma: CAR T-cell therapy.

Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy is the most promising treatment for blood cancers and is giving
hope to cancer patients, like Gary, who have run out of other options.

You can make sure that Saskatchewan patients benefit from the best in personalized medicine. And even better,
your donation of $50, $100, or whatever amount you choose – will be doubled, thanks to an anonymous friend of the Foundation!
Will you donate today?

During this season of giving, please support a bright future for cancer care in Saskatchewan.

Did you know… donating publicly traded securities (stock, bonds and mutual funds) through your brokerage account to ours, is the most tax efficient way to make your donation. When securities are donated “in-kind” to the Foundation the capital gains inclusion rate drops from 50% to 0%.

> Change what’s possible for cancer patients in Saskatchewan this Holiday Season!
> Pay no capital gains tax!
> Receive a charitable tax receipt if received in our brokerage account before December 31, 2023.

It’s a win-win-win.

To ensure you receive your 2023 charitable tax receipt, we must receive your gift of securities before December 15th. Print, fill, sign and send your form through the Foundation or your Financial Advisor to start the process today.
